Brutal Housing Great For Rentals
The Senate Judiciary Ctte approved SB 1598 (Padilla) on April 29th. This lets landlords prohibit smoking in rental units. Amendments being developed will require landlords designating smoke-free buildings to provide 12 months notice, allowing tenants time to comply or move.
