Sunrise Gets A New Look
The excitement at Sunrise started two years ago as the Southwest’s two leading multi-family property building management firms planned to merge.
After hammering out the details, an 18-month transition took place to blend the best of both worlds. Today’s launch of our new logo, developed to reflect in a single image the dynamic personality of what’s become the industry’s single most progressive firm, is just the first of many steps we’ll be taking together.
Now, under a single roof, you’ll find the finest people the industry has to provide sharing a single mission.
Working shoulder to shoulder, day by day, our professional team is consistently delivering a system of vision, values, creativity, flexibility, energy, innovation, talent and skill that can rival the largest of management firms. Yet despite our growing capabilities, we are determined to remain nimble enough to bring a boutique style approach to any owner’s property oversight needs.
Says Chief Operating Officer Tina West: “We’ve taken this opportunity to blend the best practices from both inside and outside of our industry. Our clients have already benefitted from our expanded capacity, even as they see a new commitment to the personal touch for which Sunrise and Monarch Group were both so highly regarded.”
Practices are all well and good, of course, but West reveals the secret to success at Sunrise Management: “Our people make the difference!” she smiles, adding “They allow us to commit to creating an environment of excellence and to setting the standard for the industry to follow.”
With over 9,000 apartments in California and Arizona to manage, Sunrise as an organization is often described by clients and competitors alike with terms such as ethical, dynamic, cutting-edge, innovative, professional, and fun. The merger also generated a powerful arsenal of creative programs designed to control operating costs, fuel revenue and manage real estate investment-related risks for clients, controlled by an organization unrivaled for its breadth of experience and thoughtful innovation.
Ed Samek, vice president of the Carlyle Group, says of Sunrise. “Their combined abilities provide management solutions designed to enhance the real estate investment experience for clients, while providing outstanding service to residents.”
Notes West: “With this dream team we see a new future for the apartment building management community. Our vision includes a future with new levels of exceptional service, accountability and innovation. We’ve reached a time where clients’ investment goals are consistently turned into reality.”
Ed Easley, President of TPG Residential Group, observes, “This new partnership brings the leadership and creative out-of-the-box thinking, along with an ability to execute a complicated business plan. Sunrise Management is an irreplaceable member of my team."
Sunrise Management is also an Accredited Management Organization meeting the Institute of Real Estate Management’s stringent requirements for integrity, stability and experience. The firm has been recognized as San Diego’s top accredited management organization by the Institute of Real Estate Management.
