Leaders of Distinction

One of the highest achievements a property management professional can aspire to is earning IREM’s CPM designation. Utilizing a series of classroom and practical applications, participants learn best practices for strategizing and implementing plans for individual properties following detailed financial, management and ethical guidelines. Acquisition of the CPM is the line one crosses to go from qualified to proficient.

The other industry achievement of note is recognition as an AMO – the Accredited Management Organization - which is only awarded to real estate firms with a track record of high performance, experience, stability and financial accountability. According to IREM’s AMO Coordinator, Eileen Lynch, “A mere 5% - maybe one in 20 real estate management companies nationwide – hold the AMO accreditation.”

Having one member of a property management company’s leadership is understandable. Two is tough, but do-able. But having three corporate leaders like Sunrise’s principles – Joe Greenblatt, Tina West and Pete Smith - all holding the CPM designation is nothing short of fantastic.

And when their combined skill set is layered over Sunrise’s identification as an AMO, it’s easy to see the foundation of knowledge, education and ethical business practices that get put into place and reinforced daily for each of the 250+ team members handling affairs for almost 10,000 units in California and Arizona.

As the leaders of one of the southwest’s premier residential AMOs, these three live both their professional and personal lives by the strictest rules of integrity and ethics. “A claim of excellence and top-notch teamwork in the field isn’t enough anymore.” says COO West. “With today’s economy, you’d better be able to consistently prove you’ll generate positive results at every turn. That’s why Joe, Pete and I instill an ongoing demand that every team member be able to creatively deliver exceptional customer service, and learn something new about every property in our portfolio every day.”

This way of thinking helps make Sunrise clients feel their multi-million dollar portfolios are in the most competent hands in the Southwest. And in skittish times, it helps to know everything possible about those overseeing your asset’s management.
